Broadcast Coffee - Central District

A remodel of the company's flagship location - designed and built by Trey Jones Studio.

After completion of Broadcast Coffee's third cafe in the Roosevelt neighborhood of Seattle owner Barry Faught became anxious to bring the original Broadcast Coffee shop up to the new standard of looks and functionality that Trey Jones Studio had created. Barry asked us to remodel his first cafe in a similar contemporary style to the Roosevelt location while maintaining the cozy neighborhood vibe that this cafe had become known for. We did this with simplicity, clean lines, attention to detail, and lots of FSC certified walnut plywood. We were able to help foster a harmonious brand image while keeping costs down by reusing some of the existing cafe components and thoughtfully selecting new additions.

Broadcast Coffee Roasters was expanding with a third coffee shop in Seattle. They hired Trey Jones Studio to help freshen their brand with a new and contemporary cafe. Trey Jones Studio used a combination of materials and textures to create a warm and bright space in which to enjoy a cold and grey Seattle day.
